Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL) technology makes a stiffer, more efficient wheel with outstanding power transfer. The enlarged DBL hub flange increases spoke bracing angles, boosting overall torsional/transmission and lateral stiffness for better power transfer. 2.8mm rim bead width enhances rim stiffness, for better support for tires when cornering. Designed for high volume road tires, the 22.4mm wide inner rim width creates an increased actual tire contact patch, resulting in better traction and impact absorption for more confidence and improved ride feel. Giant low friction hub with precision machined internals eliminates excessive bearing load, reducing bearing friction, lowering rolling resistance, and minimizing power loss. Additionally, without the rim hook to " push" the tire bead inward, hookless rim design offers a more seamless airflow between the tire and the sidewall of the rim, resulting in less drag and improved aero performance when compared to standard hook-type rims.
